Monica's  kuhingira"wedding" After anight and morning in a heavy downpour,Monica keinerugaba sat cross-fingered in the bedroom worried about how her Fiance Alex  Muhoozi and his entourage would travel,If they would come. "I feel like my blood pressure is high I what to bust into tears",she said. Unlike many traditions like Baganda where the groom -to-be carries some gifts to the family of the girl on the day of introduction,the Banyankore do it otherwise at the kuhingira. Back in the day, kuhingira was plain,no exaggeration,no performances apart from the traditional wedding dances and it followed a particular procession. The bride and the sister's never danced on their way out of the house and covered their faces with Eshuuka(clothe used as aveil as part of the kinyankore traditional attire for women).
